Use Paced like an app

Keep Paced one tap away on your home screen — it takes about 20 seconds, with nothing to install and nothing to pay.

Paced is a web app — there's nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your phone’s home screen and it opens full-screen with its own icon, just like a normal app. You do this yourself in your browser — here’s how, step by step.

  1. 1 Open Paced in Safari (this page is fine).
  2. 2 Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up — in the toolbar.
  3. 3 Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4 Keep the name “Paced” (or change it), then tap “Add” in the top-right.

Chrome and Edge on iPhone added an “Add to Home Screen” option too (in their own Share menu), so those work now as well. If you can’t find it, use Safari — Apple supports it most fully there.

  1. 1 Open Paced in Chrome.
  2. 2 Tap the ⋮ menu (three dots) in the top-right.
  3. 3 Tap “Install app” if you see it, or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. 4 Tap “Install” / “Add” to confirm — the Paced icon lands on your home screen.

Using Samsung Internet? Tap the ☰ menu (bottom-right) → “Add page to” → “Home screen” → “Add”.

  1. 1 Open Paced in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2 Click the install icon in the address bar — a little screen with a down arrow, on the right.
  3. 3 Click “Install”. Paced opens in its own window with a desktop / Start-menu icon.

No icon there? Open the ⋮ / “…” menu — “Install Paced” (Chrome) or “Apps → Install this site as an app” (Edge).
