What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser localStorage and sessionStorage. Together they let a site keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and stay secure.
How we use cookies and storage
Paced uses only a minimal set of strictly necessary and functional cookies and browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or marketing technologies, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Why there is no cookie banner
Consent is required for storage that isn't necessary to provide the service — which normally captures analytics. The page counting described above is designed to fall inside the narrow exemption that UK and EU regulators allow for audience measurement, and we hold ourselves to every condition of it: it is first-party only, it is never shared with anyone, it builds no profile, it follows nobody between sites, it stores no identifier, and it produces nothing but aggregate counts. We would rather meet that standard than ask you to dismiss a banner.
One page — our campaign page for Peloton owners — is measured in more detail: which sections are read, which buttons are pressed, how far people get. It is held to every one of those conditions and to one more: it stores nothing on your device at all. There is no cookie and no browser storage behind it; the tally lives in the page’s memory and is gone when the page is. What it sends, and what it never does, is set out under “Visitors to our website” in our Privacy Policy.
If you would prefer not to be counted at all, switch on your browser’s “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” setting: with either, neither the page counting nor the measurement runs for you. Private-browsing modes work here too — session storage is discarded when the tab closes, so nothing persists between visits either way.
What we do not use
We do not use:
- Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms
- Facebook Pixel or other advertising-network tracking
- Hotjar, FullStory, or session-recording tools
- Any third-party marketing or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking or advertising profiles of any kind
Your choices
The cookies and storage we use are strictly necessary or functional. You can manage or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings, but disabling the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from signing in and using Paced. Payment cookies are only involved if you choose to buy or manage a subscription.
Changes
We will update this page if we change our cookie practices. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
